I became a therapist because I needed one — and couldn’t find the right one.

There was a time when I felt like the world wasn’t designed for me. When I had to shrink myself to fit into spaces that weren’t built with people like me in mind.
That experience — of navigating identity, relationships, and mental health without the right support — is exactly why I do this work.
I’m Mark, a BACP-registered psychotherapist with a First-Class Honours degree in Counselling & Psychotherapy. I specialise exclusively in LGBTQIA+ therapy: individual sessions, couples, group work, and support for polyamorous and ethically non-monogamous relationships.
I work online, with clients across the UK and worldwide.
My approach is rooted in Person-Centred Therapy — which means the agenda is always yours. I also draw on compassion-focused and solutions-focused techniques when they’re useful, without rushing the process.
More than anything, I believe that people who have spent their lives feeling like outsiders deserve a therapist who meets them without agenda, without assumptions, and without needing a primer on their life.
You shouldn’t have to educate your therapist. With me, you won’t.
